Brief History of the Band

1970 – Roger Taylor, Brian May, Freddie Mercury, and Mike Grose form Queen
«1971 – John Deacon joins as bassist after Queen goes through three other bassist in 1 year
«1974 – Have their first big hit with “Killer Queen”
«1975 – Go on their 1st headlining tour
«1975 – “Bohemian Rhapsody” is released and spends 9 weeks at #1 
«1976 – All 4 Queen records are in the Top 20, unheard of at the time
«1980 – Queen has sold over 45,000,000 albums worldwide
«1984 – Releases a video for the song “I Want to  Break Free” where the band is dressed in drag. MTV in America refuses to air the video.
«1985 – Queen performs at Live Aid and steals the show
«1986 – Performs their last concert as a whole at Knebworth Park in London
«1991 – Queen records their last video with Freddie for the song “Days of Our Lives”
«November 23rd, 1991 – Freddie announces he has AIDS. He dies the next day.
«1992 – The surviving members and other top stars, like Elton John and Axl Rose, come together at Wembley Stadium to pay tribute to Freddie Mercury.
«2005 – Brian May and Roger Taylor, along with ex-Free singer Paul Rodgers go on tour and perform Queen songs in a tour being billed as "Queen + Paul Rodgers"
